Scientific Properties
Lapis Lazuli is a deep-blue metamorphic rock.  The solid blue color with grains of gold pyrite is a good quality of Lapis.  Mainly it is composed of the mineral Lazurite, with other minerals including Calcite, Sodalite and Pyrite.  Few of the countries, but not limited, with deposits are Chile, Russia, Canada, USA, Argentina & Pakistan.  It has a Mohs scale hardness of 5 to 5.5.
